‘+23, Rehabilitating when partially sighted’ is the first project of Stichting Zicht in Zicht, a Dutch foundation – focused on improving awareness for the visually impaired – which takes a closer look at the largely misunderstood disability of visual impairment. In ‘+23’ the reader goes on an accessible ride through the world of visual impairment and rehabilitation. Beyond that, it is the story of a young woman who has a disability, but above all chooses for: life, happiness, love and herself. Annemiek van Munster’s debut helps to understand the complexity of visual impairment, through a personal development journey.
